You know Elves like to have fun more than anything else---
Well,except maying eating sweet treats....

On Stocking Stuffer Sunday, after we check the
workshop and  count the gifts we have ready for Santa
to put in the stockings on Elf Eve(You might call it Christmas Eve) We get to have FUN...One of the games we love
the best is the stocking game. Under some of our  plates at
supper are red dots. If you get a red dot you are a
team leader.The leaders get to  pick  an elf each turn for their team. Mrs Clause comes in with huge bowls of
wrapped candy, wooden spoons and colorful stockings. Santa hangs the stockings on the low mantle.
This is how we play the game.
The teams line up,alot of pushing and giggling and laughing goes on... We each have to go to the big bowl of candy,fill the spoon, using only one hand, then walk carefully to
the stocking that  hanging on the mantle on the other side of the room  and put the candy in the stocking. The first team to fill the stocking is the winner. We have christmas music playing and the reindeers,and all the other critters come to watch and laugh. Everyone wins..because we get to divide all the candy when we are done!!
The elves on the winning team get a cup of hot cocoa with a peppermint  stir stick.
