The Day is Here.Christmas Tree Selection Saturday....
Today Santa and the six lucky elves that won the name the tree contest get to go to
Santa's North Pole Official Forest to cut down the official Workshop Christmas tree. Everyone is excited. The workshop will be cleaned
to perfection and the other decorations will all be up when the official tree arrives. We have a lot of work to do.The contest was helping Santa choose the theme of this years tree. Each entry was entered by a team of elves.
Each team had wonderful ideas. Some that didn't win(but were still good ideas) were ; Everything on the tree is Round, Fruits and Fairies, Cats and Dogs.
The winners this year were the team from the barn,the reindeer helpers, and their entry was "Wood 'n Shoes" Santa laughed and laughed when he told us his choice.He really likes this theme. The team already had some ornaments made to show with the entry.
Now We are all making ornaments that are made of wood or that are shoes. We love it!! I will show you some of the ornaments.

Santa is choosing the tree! Santa has tree magic. He keeps it in a special bag .Santa looks at a lot of trees, and the elves run and frolic and check out the underneath and the inside of the branches. Santa chooses the one with the best size needles, good spaces between the branches and nice strong limbs to hold the heavier ornaments.
He uses his tree magic to make sure the tree is straight and nice and round. It also makes the tree able to stay indoor the entire season and not dry out. The magic also sizes the tree to the perfect height for the room when we stand it up inside.The best thing he does is add the Christmas smells to the tree. This is the part of Christmas we love the most. Pine and spruce,peppermint,sugarplums,spices,chocolates and gingerbread,whatever is your special fragrance, you will smell it on the tree.. True Holiday Magic!
