'Tis the Season.....................
Elves love to decorate
doorways and windows, inside or out,
We use Christmas tree branches
or holly tied together
with string or wire, and fasten
them around our doorways.
Make them a nice width, like 4 or 5 inches wide and about 14
feet long for your doors.
Alot of the doors at the NorthPole
are elf size so we make them shorter.
Lightly drive small
finish nails around your door, taking care not to damage the door molding.
. 3 - 4 fasteners should work
on each door
Elves
adore mini-lights. We add them to anything we can.
We fasten them in and out
of the garland. Use lots and lots of mini-lights.
For larger outdoor garlands
we use the bigger lights.
Some people prefer colored
lights and we like them too, but we always use
white lights on the North
Pole garlands.
Clear or white frost
gives it a nice old-fashioned Christmas look.
You can add some type of decorations
,pinecones,red berries,ornaments,etc.
And bows, lots and lots of
bows..the candy cane striped ribbon in great!
We decorate all of our doorways,
inside and out this way,
and it adds a magical sparkle.
You can make your home look like the
North Pole with just a few
twists of garland.
