You know a lot of baking goes on at the North Pole.
The Elf in charge of baking is Katrina.
She knows all the recipes by heart and she knows
each and every Elf's favorite food.
(And Santa's & Mrs. Santa's too)
We asked her what was the most requested
sweet treat from her kitchen and this is
what she gave us.

Katrinia's, Almost Magic, Spicy Bundt Pan Rolls

3/4 cups butter or margarine, melted
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cans buttermilk refrigerator biscuits (10 biscuits per package)
1 cup chopped pecans
 Bundt pan

1) Preheat oven to 350°
2) Grease Bundt pan
3) In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar,
cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
(Katrina also likes to sing while she
cooks and her favorite song is
 "A  Marshmallow World")
4) Separate biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
5) Sprinkle 1/3 cup pecans in bottom of pan.
Arrange 1/3 biscuit pieces on top of pecans.
(Push them all tightly in the pan)
Pour 1/3 of syrup mixture over biscuits.
Repeat the layers two more times.
6) Bake for 30 to 40 minutes
or until toothpick inserted in a biscuit comes out clean.
While still warm turn out on a party plate.
Sprinkle with confectionery sugar
and trim the plate with some holly leave.
Serve warm with cold milk or your
favorite hot beverage.

North Pole Saturday is
unofficially called
Teddy Bear Day
You will always find
Santa and the Elves putting
the finishing touches on the bears
while they wait for Katrinas Bundt rolls.
